Organizational Structure

The administration of CPD is divided into 2 parts; Central and Provincial ones. The central administration, which is located in Bangkok, comprises 12 units as follows:

  1. Internal Audit Group is responsible for supervision of management, finance and accounting.
  2. Administration Development Group is responsible for follow-up,evaluation and report of administration development.
  3. Office of Secretary is in charge of general office works, library and legal duties.
  4. Personnel Division is responsible for personnel affairs, staff recruitment and manpower allocation.
  5. Finance Division is in charge of finance, account and commodity procurement.
  6. Planning Division is responsible for planning, budget allocation, project monitoring and evaluation, and international affairs.
  7. Cooperative Support System Development Division is responsible for establishment, dissolution and division registration, liquidation, supervision of financing and liabilities, Cooperative Development Fund, researches for financing and liability settlement of cooperatives and farmer groups.
  8. Credit and Consumer Cooperatives Development Division is responsible for thrift and credit cooperative, credit union cooperative, consumer cooperative, service cooperative on structure organization, operational system development, business operation, production and service, marketing and networking.
  9. Agricultural Cooperatives and Farmer Groups Development Division is responsible for cooperatives and farmer groups in agricultural sector on structure organization, operational system development, business administration, production and services of cooperatives in agricultural sector and farmer groups.
  10. Information Technology Centre is responsible for data base, information system, intranet, network development of cooperatives and farmer groups.
  11. Bangkok Cooperative Promotion Offices in Area 1 and Area 2 have duties to educate cooperative personnel, farmer groups and the public about cooperative ideology and principles and to foster successful business operation of cooperatives.
  12. Cooperative Technology Transfer and Development Office designs and conducts training courses relevant and useful to CPD staff, cooperative members, Board of Director and staff of cooperative and the public through its 10 Regional Technology Transfer Centres; and
  13. Provincial Cooperative Offices in 75 provinces are responsible for cooperative-related laws, supervising and promoting the operations of cooperatives and farmer groups in the respective areas, business and operational promotion and development.
